Microsoft Flight Simulator – Japan World Update Trailer
The world in Microsoft Flight Simulator is getting a major update, starting with the island nation of Japan on September 29.
World Update I: The Japan world update features an upgraded digital elevation map across the entire country, high-resolution 3D photogrammetry for six prominent Japanese cities (Sendai, Takamatsu, Tokushima, Tokyo, Utsunomiya and Yokohama), and six handcrafted local airports (Hachijojima, Kerama, Kushiro, Nagasaki, Shimojishima, and Suwanosejima). Players will also be able to try their hand at executing a trio of exciting new Landing Challenges set at Japanese airports.
This update will be FREE to all Microsoft Flight Simulator players.

Austria, Switzerland and Germany are the countries that received a significant overhaul this time around. This means there’s a lot of improvements throughout these regions. As a perfects example, you can see from this brand-new Discovery Flight, the Alps now look seriously impressive.

Fix for Gaming Services Loop
Launch powershell as an administrator and enter “get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers”
In the same powershell window, enter “start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN”
Install the app on that page, including accepting the UAC prompt when shown.
Try launching the game again. Re-install the game if necessary.

World Update VI – Germany, Austria, Switzerland features new aerial imagery, high-resolution elevation maps, and 3D cities, including Frankfurt and Wuppertal in Germany, Basel in Switzerland, and Graz and Vienna in Austria. The team has also hand crafted 100 famous locations and several new airports such as Lübeck, Stuttgart, Klagenfurt, and St. Gallen. This update will also include new discovery flights, fresh landing challenges, and bush trips that showcase this beautiful region of our planet.
